would come here again
Had a King room, super comfy bed, and the bathroom was modern and super clean with a nice shower. Enjoyed a tv and brewed some tea with the electric kettle. The staff were super friendly, and the cozy atmosphere added to the charm. Can't forget about those amazing Christmas decorations!

I didn't feel like leaving.
It was clean, staff was welcoming and polite. Triple room was light and immaculate for our needs. Enjoyed food selection, meals were decent and they have lots of options.

The food at the full English breakfast was delicious. The room was new-fashioned with multi-channel television, a coffeemaker and ironing facilities included. The location was marvellous, close enough to Bedale, the restaurant and the polar express, in a pretty nice area;)))

nice stay but a few issues
The staff exhibited really good friendliness, our needs were met . Dinner was prepared to perfection and provided excellent value with generous portions, especially for kids! The festive decorations created a good atmosphere that enhanced our experience. I appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of our Standard Triple Room, made for a restful night.
The Wi-Fi connectivity was spotty, making it difficult to stay connected.

The breakfast offered was good, with a variety of options that set a positive tone for the day. Parking availability was limited, and the noise from nearby rooms occasionally disrupted the peace. The limited dining hours made it challenging for late arrivals to get a meal.

The room had a super comfy king bed. The bathroom featured a modern design with a nice shower.
Limited evening dining options on Sundays left me scrambling for food, with only Indian restaurants available nearby. The room I received was poorly maintained, with wallpaper peeling and an unsatisfactory layout made worse by the lack of privacy and fresh air. I couldn't even open the door due to foot traffic outside. Booked an upgraded room expecting a coffee machine, but it turned out to be just a kettle, leaving me feeling misled.

Ideal stop-off for a group
The staff were cute, especially Kelly at the reception who took care of our stay with such attention. Dinner was a highlight, freshly made and delicious, and even the chef was working hard despite being short-staffed.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but still reasonable for what we got.

Arriving after a long drive, I was devastated to find no food service on Sundays, and the staff member barely acknowledged my dismay. The room was certainly clean, but lacking a coffee machine was an absolute catastrophe. I also expected some kind of welcome gift, but was left feeling like just another guest. How disappointing.

I had a mighty stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful, really made me feel welcome. The room was clean and modern. The shower was lovely and relaxing. Only downside was the view from the back wasn't the best. Still, I'd definitely come back!

Stayed at reubens for 2 nights and loved it! The king room was very clean and had a fantastic shower. The staff were really good, always ready to assist, especially when I needed to work . Breakfast was good, but could use slightly larger portions.

The rooms can be hit or miss. I found mine to be cramped with barely enough space to navigate around the bed, and some come equipped without windows, leaving them stuffy. Noise from the nearby road and bar patrons can disrupt sleep, and the limited evening dining hours at 20:00 make it tricky to grab a late bite. The lack of air conditioning, and if you're looking for ample storage, you might find the closet space lacking. There's a bit of noise discernible from adjacent rooms too, disheartening if you're after peace and quiet.

Just a strong match for a short interlude in Bedale with very nice value for money. Enjoyed a super comfy bed and a refreshing shower after a long day. Consider asking for a room away from the bar area for a quieter stay.
